Position	Part Time Custodian Black Seal License- required

Job Description	Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm & Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure, and maintenance tasks are performed according to specific instructions. Salary Starts $28,593.75
Job Requirements	(Include but not limited to the below custodial activities) Sweeps and mops floors and stairs. Dusts desks, woodwork, furniture and other equipment; Washes windows, walls, blackboards, sinks and other fixtures; Polishes furniture and metal furnishing. Empties waste baskets, collects and disposes of rubbish; Clears snow and ice from walks. May mow lawns, trim shrubs, rake leaves and perform a variety of other grounds keeping tasks as assigned. Assists in the operation of an oil, gas or coal fired low-pressure heating system including firing and removing ashes. Delivers packages and messages. Places and removes traffic safety signs. Arranges chairs, tables, and other equipment for special use of school building; Replaces light bulbs, soap and towels.
Job Benefits	Health Benefits are not offered to part time employees. Paid leave: 12 sick days, 4 personal days accrued annually. After completion of one (1) year of continuous employment, custodial/maintenance employees receive two weeks vacation with pay. Vacation time increases after the fifth year of employment. Job Description	Pay: $16.73 Plus $1.00 per hour for those paraprofessionals whose job responsibilities merit differential compensation related to extraordinary duties such as lifting, restraining, toileting or assistance in other personal hygiene. Plus $2.00 per hour for those paraprofessionals who hold a teaching license or substitute teacher certificate.

Job Description	This is a substitute position and only necessary on an as needed basis, a great opportunity for someone seeking a secondary/extra income. This position requires a wide variety of routine cleaning duties at campus buildings which includes, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, vacuum cleaning, dusting, and complete bathroom cleaning of all school buildings and any other custodial tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager. This position may also include clearing of snow and ice from entranceways, walkways, steps, and various outdoor campus spaces as needed during winter months.
Job Requirements	Must have experience and working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Must be physically able to lift heavy objects (at least 25 lbs), walk & stand for long periods of time Candidates must be fingerprinted for a background check Proficiency in English (strongly preferred).
